Earth – The only planet in the Universe known to support life

MobColloquial - An extended family or wider community group from a particular place

MOBAcronym – Mobilise – organise and encourage (a group of people) to take collective action in pursuit of a particular objective

Our Earth is a beautiful, wonderful, extraordinary place. It is home to an incredible richness of life, landscapes and beauty. It is the cradle of civilization and home for all of human-kind. And it is the only place in the known Universe capable of supporting life.

Yet the fragile balance that enables life to exist on Earth is now in trouble. We are using more resources than the Earth can sustain, disrupting both the natural world and the very climate that supports life. Our planet now needs us to make some big changes for the future.

Humans have faced and overcome great challenges before throughout history. Yet the disruption of the Earth’s natural world and climate is the greatest crisis that humanity has ever faced. It will take all our collective determination, ingenuity, thinking, imagination, cooperation, and action for this crisis to be averted.

Enabling our relationship with this Earth to evolve so as to ensure a future where humans and nature can survive and thrive together, is the challenge of our time. Every one of us has a crucial role to play.

Here you can find some of the inspiring visions, ideas, dreams, thinking and proposals for a rich vibrant future for people and Earth.

“We have no replacement planet, we have only this one – and we have to take action.” – Berta Caceres.
